Overview
How to modernize a IT Project Management Tool
CA Broadcom Clarity app helps organizations prioritize initiatives, manage projects, and track budgets. I was brought in to modernize key screens so teams could understand project status faster, collaborate more easily, and make better decisions with less effort.
Problem
Solution
I redesigned two core experiences to make complex project data easier to understand and act on.
First, I created a streamlined Project Details view that brought the most important information—status, tasks, conversations, team members, key dates, effort, budget, and finish-date progress—into one clear workspace. I also introduced an optional personalized header to make the experience feel more engaging and motivating.
Second, I designed a modular data-visualization dashboard with consistent chart viewlets, including line, donut, bar, and bubble charts, so users could quickly scan trends, compare performance, and drill into insights with greater confidence.
Results
My updated UI reduced friction in day-to-day project work by making priorities and progress easier to read and navigate. Teams gained faster alignment through clearer status visibility and more usable collaboration surfaces, while the dashboard’s scannable visual system supported quicker decision-making across the portfolio—improving overall satisfaction and adoption.
